CHEMBRA PEAK

Chembra is the highest peak in Wayanad and is situated at 2100m above mean sea level. Trekking to Chembra peak is a risky endeavor. It takes almost a day to reach the top of the peak. The view from the top of the hill is breath taking. The tourist can devour themselves in the sight of the “love shaped lake” that appears from the hill top. The tourists can stay one or two days in temporary tents at the top of the peak.

PAKSHIPATHALAM (BIRD SANCTUARY)

Pakshipathalam offers immense challenge for any adventure seeking tourists. Pakshipathalam is situated in the Brahmagiri hills at Thirunelli. To reach Pakshipathalam seventeen kilometers have to be covered through wild forests. Rare species can be sighted from the watchtower of this bird sanctuary.

TIGER HUT

It’s the least known adventurous location in Wayanad but nonetheless as exiting as other adventurous spots in Wayanad. The place got its name from deep t9iger caves located in the area. It is very difficult to climb into the caves and provides adrenaline rush to the adventurous.
