Process/ product/ market
analysis
For existing products that need to be produced,
we analyze or suggest assembling methodology and
identify bottlenecks. We also study inspection/quality
control methodologies with an overall objective
to increase the production capacity. For new product
design, we study the existing products in the
market, identify features to be incorporated and
their value proposition in the marketplace, study
industry design standards and regulatory norms.
Requirement scoping
Based on our process/product/market study, we
work with the customer in capturing design requirements
and testing methodologies. Requirements are checked
to see if they are incomplete, ambiguous or contradictory.
Design ConceptualizationDesign alternatives
are thrashed out and one or more design frameworks
are suggested to the customer. We work with the
customer in analysing their pros and cons before
finalising on the design concept to be built upon.
Failure mode, standards
analysis
The design concept in analysed in the background
of the requirement and usage methodology to identify
risks and reduce the probability of failure.
Electro-Mechanical design
We design the layout of the complete system, how
the components would be put together
Control architecture
We design the control algorithm, identify the
inputs, outputs, interfacing mechanism and the
test plan.
Detailed design and component
selection
We detail the design, finalise the third party
material to be procured, freeze the layout and
procure/fabricate the materials.
Prototype/product/system
Generation
For new product development or new-concept development,
a prototype is built and feedback is obtained.
The system/product is built by integrating the
electromechanical and control systems.
Integration Testing
The system/produced is tested at a module and
integrated level to ensure specifications are
met.
